Hi,
Welcome to the Obama History Blogs, a series of non-partisan blogs designed to capture the history of the Obama Presidency as it happens, day by day. My name is Keith Ellis. I'm a writer and motivational speaker from Virginia. I've always been fascinated by history so I created the Obama History Project, a non-profit, non-partisan effort devoted to keeping these blogs on line and making them available to historians as part of a permanent, historical archive.
These are interesting times. We are living the history that people will be writing about for generations. The question is, will we be spectators or participants? One way for us to participate is to record for posterity the impressions and feelings we have about what's happening today. Each of the blogs listed below approaches this task from a different perspective. And each blog contributes whatever comments you make to the permanent, historical archive maintained by the Obama History Project. If you add your comments or guest posts to any of them, you will quite literally go down in history.
Here are the Obama History Blogs:

Ever wonder what it must feel like to be President Obama, or for that matter his wife or his kids? This is where you can share those thoughts with the rest of us.
We invent our opinions of other people based on our own needs, prejudices, and expectations. What we think about others says as much about us as it does about them. For public figures, this "invention effect" is even more pronounced because we don't actually know them except as figures of our imagination.
This blog gives you the chance to answer the question, who is President Obama to you? What kind of a man do you think he is? What kind of a president do you think he is? This is the place you can express whatever personal mythology you have invented for President Obama.
The place to come for the day's most important headlines about the Obama Presidency. You'll also find daily tracking poll numbers about the public's confidence in Obama, confidence in the economy, etc.
As I mentioned above, what's really cool about all these blogs is that your comments and guest posts will automatically become a part of the historical archive kept by the Obama History Project. If you've ever wanted to go down in history, this is your chance to do it.
Make it count!
